Dr Neeta Patel

has been a Consultant Paediatrician for 19 years

She has  extensive experience in managing  childhood allergic diseases ( infant eczema, food allergies, hay fever, asthma)  and general paediatric conditions from newborn up to 18 years

Dr Neeta Patel MBChB FRCPCH MSc Allergy.

Neeta qualified from Manchester Medical School in 1992. Her training rotation included Great Ormond Street Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital and Monash University Hospital, Melbourne, Australia. She was appointed as a General Consultant Paediatrician at The Whittington Hospital in 2005 and developed a sub specialist allergy interest, setting up and leading a now large hospital and community-based allergy service which sees over 1000 children a year.

She has held senior leadership roles at Whittington Health for many years including Clinical Director for children and young people’s services.

Having had firsthand experience of a son with multiple allergies, she understands the distress this can cause to both child and parent and the importance of early recognition, diagnosis, and optimal holistic care. As she practices both general paediatrics and paediatric allergy, she is highly experienced in managing children who are referred for presumed allergy  who don't have allergies as well as managing children referred for general conditions, who do have allergies.
